"Bowl" doesn't seem right, nor "plate". Dish? Saucer? I am also curious concerning age or maker. The diameter overall is 5.875 inches (14.9cm). The rim thickness is 1cm (.4 inch). 20190628_122813.jpg 20190628_122836.jpg 20190628_122903.jpg

  9. They better be on carpet. That beaded bottom would be a hardwood killer and slide easy.

    Komo, you are so right!

A few years back, I bought a little dish in a brass holder, just because I thought it was cool. (I keep all sorts of stuff in "little dishes" on my desk...)

Anyway, it was sold as a "candle holder".

When I got it, I noticed the wording on the bottom of the holder, and I did some digging. I unexpectedly came up with something that described its actual intended use!
