Did a little digging today, but one of two small charity thrifts was closed. I did spend $5 total though.

The ReStore was putting this out while I was in the store. Helped the lady shelve a mug (I could reach, and she couldn't) and hauled out a dark green vase that looked like the bottom half of a pulp fiction rocket ship. It didn't look like crazy money, but it was also $2 . Anchor Hocking.

The other piece was $3 in the Ill Will. Bright blue Viking glass compote. Not worth a ton but the blue is gorgeous.

Favorite pick so far this month, large 20” wood bowl and scoop. Love the ovoid form with two sides higher than the other two and the honest wear.

DSCF9238.JPG DSCF9239.JPG Went hunting a little today and came home with more money than I left with. (hard to argue when that happens.) Found a two-tone gold heart on a 14k chain, a Warner heart bracelet, a jigsaw puzzle, and an itty bitty hand decorated teapot with the handle off. It had been broken for a long time; the break might be older than I am. Glued the handle back on. What I thought was old glue turned out to be old filth. It'll get its own thread because I do not read Japanese.

The more money trick..forgot that part. The heart was on a 14k chain of no particular attractiveness. Scrapped it on the way home. No idea where the heart bracelet is going yet.

Thanks. Warner made some nice stuff, some of which is worth money. I'd bet this isn't. (but hey, it was essentially free. Hard to argue with free!)

Just some perfume bottles to add to my collection. I thought the octagonal Wedgewood was very nice. The wood one is Mrytle wood. The white one is alabaster.

I love finding myrtle pieces too. Not worth crazy money, but they're pretty and you know someone made the thing.

I have visited the Lakeshore myrtle wood store so many times while in Oregon. I love to go to touch and look at their stuff. I think they were trying to sell the store last time I was there that was in 2016. They had beautiful pieces but far more than I was willing to pay.

That's the problem with those pieces. Costs and arm and a leg in labor to make, so I doubt they sell for much more than they have in them.

I agree. There was a bowl recently that I ignored though the price was good. I have no more space, but this was small and $8

Oh. I bought this at the thrift. So they gained $8.
