2 fur coats - possibly mink? Definitely something real

the lighter one has ‘keska’ and ‘dasco’ on the button clips and the darker one says cofa. They have no labels but are in incredible condition and beautifully made!

As always, any advice would be gratefully received! Thank you in advance

Not sure what you want to know. The first one is a swing coat, a style popular in the 1950s when fashion embraced volume after WWII austerity.

The second one appears to be a bit older but impossible to ascertain much from your photograph. It would be helpful if you rephotographed it from straight on and reposted (right side up.)

It used to be and I don't know if it still allowed but a person I know from estate sales sold fur coats and minks on ebay mostly to Russian buyers.

The first one does not look like mink. The second one might be. But we need closer views of the fur itself so we can better see color, texture and hair length.

It would also be useful to us in the future for you to use the Full Image option for each picture separately so they are easier for those who can help you to see the important details. This collage (?) of multiple pictures is problematic.

The first one doesn't look like mink, exactly, but it MIGHT be "mink tails." Very popular in (I think) the 70's.

I think KESKA and DASCO are brands of furrier clasps.

I've some vintage fake fur with Dasco clasps, so I'd agree.

Thanks for your replies everyone. I have found someone closeby who specialises in vintage fashion who is going to have a look at them.
