Someone dumped this in my trash a few years back, and I'm clearing some stuff out and need to get rid of it. The two Brunswick seats are joined by a refreshment and ashtray tray. Wooden footrests along the bottom. Is this for a billiard room or for a bowling hall? age? Would you describe as Mid Century?
These look similar... they say bowling alley but I don't know how they knew that. https://marketplace.apartmenttherapy.com/listings/59a3011d-07c8-4fed-9295-73b3e45ea96d
Yes. That's it! Thank you! I was leaning towards Billiards since you might need to sit high up to see what's going on on the table. But, Brunswick is always been associated mostly with bowling.
Ah yes, back when bowling was fun, being able to drink and smoke in between throwing a ball down the alley!

I remember watching Pool Tournaments and the participants would sit on tall barstools. Never saw these types of chairs used for pool tourneys Typical Pool tourney set up............

Usually the only 2-chair seating is at the scorer's table and I'm pretty sure these are too low for the scorer's table. So, I'm not convinced these are bowling center chairs.
If it wasn't for the Brunswick name, i'd think it was a patio or poolside piece. Can't really imagine it in a Billiards hall.
I think billiards. Even if shorter than expected because sometimes the floor surrounding the play area is elevated (also true in bowling, though). Yes, these are tall. 1969 catalogue.
It's from when they looked like this: Brunswick also made school furniture. I am now pretty sure they furnished my highschool
