Hello folks! I've got this duck planter I'm trying to ID. It's a cute piece that sits on two runners and a wedge. It measures about 8 1/8" long and 6 1/2" tall. I thought maybe it was Brush but I haven't been able to find anything in my Brush books. I've seen a similar piece with pigs instead of ducks. Any help figuring this out would be much appreciated.
    Thanks!
    Don

Hi Messilane - thanks for trying. There is a tendency on ebay/pinterest to say that anything on runners and/or wedge feet is Royal Copley but other companies also used those bases. There is just nothing about this piece that say Royal Copley to me. Again, your efforts are much appreciated.

I believe FAPCo (Fredericksburg Art Pottery Co.) also had runners. You might try that in your searching. I believe they have a Facebook page, also.

Thanks, *crs*, for the lead. I think Fredericksburg is one of those forgotten potteries (at least for me and I'm forgetting a lot more than I used to :arghh:). I've asked to join their facebook group. Will report back if I can learn anything new.

I think I got it. Thanks to *crs* I researched FAPCo. (they gave me a very warm welcome to their facebook page). FAPCo. led me to Cameron Clay Products' facebook page and I see the duck planter under their photos (as well a couple of dozen other pieces I've seen over the years and never knew who made). Thanks to all!
