Sure looks like it! I can't smell it from here obviously, but that was a popular color.

The material is 1930s, but it wasn't used until after the War in this case. The longer the shorter strand is, the more recently it was made.

Gambled on a randomly mixed lot on Ebay last week. I saw what looked like a gold chain and probably some gold-plated silver Panamanian or Peruvian souvenir pieces ... whoops. I still need to test it all, but if it pans out this is about 23 pennyweights of 750. Lot cost about 25 bucks all in. DSCF1913.JPG DSCF1914.JPG

I get about one of these every year. Then there are the other half dozen of the less successful variety.

Never went to a concert before last year. Wife got this shirt signed by KT Tunstall IMG_20180601_201224091.jpg IMG_20180601_201220103.jpg . Already has it worn out.

She was a real good show.

The rest of yesterday’s little haul I’ve just got round to looking at.
Green stone bead necklace with silver clasp. Don't know what they are.
Gorgeous blue glass( I think) beads made to look like turquoise. Nicely knotted and french bullion at the clasp. Loving these.
    White metal bracelet.
Enamel bracelet signed Ziemer. Not heard of them before?
Find of the day in the kids jewellery section- a Silver charm bracelet with Thomas Sabo charms, including one with a diamond, a Swarovski charm and a silver heart for £2!
A weird nut thing necklace, not old as strung on nylon although clasp looks old. Nuts look coated in something?. Just bought it out of interest!

I'm almost positive those faux turquoise beads are Czech. I picked up 8 strands of them at a flea market in the Czech Republic.

    Hi,
I forgot the name of the nuts but they all had names if they were divided in half or had three seams or four even five and I think six.

I went to an estate sale this morning. The glorious story will be found in the general discussion forum under antiquing pet peeves. A totally new experience.

Anyway, I did come away with these

I love old jewelry boxes, and they were $1 a piece

Purple glass necklace, $8 bin (I know, pricey for that, but I love it)
    Purple glass necklace Duncans (640x622).jpg
Navajo sterling turquoise feather cuff, $16 (has a very nice weight, don't recognize the signature. Already looked on the pictographs on the Native American hallmark site. One similar, not the same.)

And my favorite find of the day, the photos don't do these justice, 800 silver green amethyst earrings, $8. Anyone know what date/country of origin these may be?
