Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

The latest in a series ...

As mentioned in another thread, I will be out of town quite a bit this coming week. So, anybody who would like all of these items for the cost of shipping, just leave a reply saying you are interested. On Sunday, July 26 I will randomly select a name (user name).

I cannot find any marks on any of these items.

    1) At the bottom of the photo are two bead necklaces. These were made by somebody I knew about 10 years ago, and given to me. I assume the beads were from a craft store. I think they are all plastic, but possibly some are not. I didn't check.

    Now the rest, from left:
    2) Necklace with gold-colored chain and metal pendant in shape of a tortoise. The white and gold parts are both metal. The tortoise's back legs are attached so they swing.

    3) Cameo-like pendant with gold setting. The cameo portion is sort of frosted, and the background is clear. It's a little heavy, and tested as glass with my gem tester. No chain.

    4) Necklace with amber-colored stones. They test as glass with the gem tester. The clasp has been replaced, and latches the opposite direction from the way that necklace clasps usually do. I don't have a way to test metal... the metal might be silver, but also might be a base metal. Looks a little Czechoslovakian to me, but not sure and there is no mark.

    5) Glove clip -- The stones test as glass

    6) Two lapel pins -- one is an American flag and one looks like the head of a Buddha. The latter has "Tokyo National Museum" on the back.

    7) The green pointed thing is some kind of a clip... either for shoe or sweater I think. Has small prongs on the back. The green part didn't move on my gem tester. It seems to be an older plastic. Not sure whether something good like Bakelite, or some other plastic.

    8) Necklace with sort of a southwestern U.S. look to it. It is set in very cheap metal, and the stone did not move with the gem tester. I have had this necklace since it was brand new, and I'm sure it's just something cheap that I bought in a store somewhere when in my 20s. I used to wear it fairly often, but it is in good condition still.

So, that is it for now!

I turned some of them over for the following photos:

Ownedbybear, you are the only person expressing interest in these, so they are yours! I will send you a private message for your address.

... This is the first time I've posted a jewelry giveaway with so little interest expressed. I must have done a great job of selection! Although, I do like the necklace with amber-colored beads.

Sorry, johnett... I gave it a week since I was out of town. That probably led to some of the forgetting. I'll be posting another one some time soon, I'm sure.
