Cobalt Blue Art Glass Decanter

    Saw this today but did not buy it because it had some surface chips. Otherwise I liked it and appeared to had some age.
    Any thoughts?

    Not convinced on that. Egyptian glass is very very light, this doesn't look that.

    I wish I took better pictures. Somehow it did not look cheap to me but what do I know about glass.

    Whatever it might be,the chips are a deal killer . Rarely do glassies want less than perfect.

    Why do the Egyptians make thin glass anyway, glass is made of sand and they have one of the world's largest supplies of it!
