    Hello,

We recently acquired this at an estate sale in Tennessee. We know next to nothing about it. Hoping for general age and/or origin.

It has no markings on the underside, or identifying features.

    Thank you!

Brad's yr man re Furniture. To me it looks like 1920's-30's oak,but i'm no furniture expert. If you can show us pics of the underside of the piece & closeups of screws, bolts etc-it would help.

Looks like a quartersawn oak gate leg table ca. 1920s. Very handsome, and you can’t buy better new at 5 times the price.

Sadly, the buying public will ignore this and buy a much more expensive Ashley table that will be splinters far before the year 2123 arrives.

    Nice purchase!

    Ghopper nailed it !
You really can't find better constructed furniture for the price these days-1920's had battleship solid furniture.
You may want hi-end Modern Industrial,70's Italian or Deco Shagreen-get this for 1/20th the price & learn to faux-finish.

It's very similar to English ones of the same period.

With the carving, I would think English. Otherwise, agree.
