I came across this Statue whilst in the rural villages of Congo - DRC (Kasasai Region)
It is about 5kg in weight, and stands just over 60cm tall.
The wood seems to be solid, however has few deep splits on the right side. The overall look seems old.

Please can anyone shed some light on:
1.) which Tribe it may be from?
2.) how old, ie. which era?
3.) where or whom I can approach to find out Any information on this statue.

Thanking you kindly for your time.

    Regards
