Don't laugh at me for getting that :)
I have not taken it out of the frame yet but I suspect it was done by a child? Wonder if the kid did not know how to draw or went out of the boundaries on purpose?

My personal opinion is that there is too much intentional construction to the composition and nuances of shading for this to be a child's drawing.......but hey, Mozart was a kid once to, so..............................

I'll take it out of the frame and see if there are any clues.

As a former art teacher to kids of all age groups (in a distant past life!), I'd say it wasn't done by a young child, but possibly by a pre-adolescent or adolescent... or even an adult.

I actually kind of like it for what it is and think the use of color and composition show talent.

    There is a google result:

    Graham Rashkind, (804) 261-1087, VA 23226 - UsBizPlace
    www.usbizplace.com/va-g/graham-rashkind.html
Graham Rashkind. Graham Rashkind located in Richmond VA 23226. ... The Party Artist; 4011 Chevy Chase Street, RICHMOND VA 23226 (804) 266-8996.

but the link gives no information (note The Party Artist - I have no idea if it relates to art or to throwing parties!!!)

and as we all know - different is better!

But back to the subject at hand - I like this piece - it has a certain "something".....an emotion or a felling that appeals to me.........I hope it turns out to be a "good" piece for you!

It gives me the feeling that I've just jumped into the middle of the cartoon, and makes me want to know the storyline.
