these 2 guys , i couldn't just leave there.....
they are early , I believe... Shamans products..... approx 7 x 5 inches....and made from a type of cast pottery.....not plastic.......

 

the watch I found out in the parking lot.....marked RADO.....but it's a cheap fake.
someone muct have forgot it after laying it down on a light post foundation...
it keeps good time.......

I'd agree, Shamans or similar product, 1970s or earlier. "Composition" is a good term; these are not simple plastic, resin or plaster, but a fairly light-weight casting "composition."

This is my everyday watch - and my favorite for some 25 years! I have a leather strap RADO, too, but this one is the one I always choose to wear:



Lousy picture, but the reflection/glare makes it hard to photograph...

 

Ratsy, I really like the pattern on that jar - it's different from what I usually see!

 

I love glass negs; they're usually very detailed and clear. I'm betting those Native Minors are interesting looking kids.

The wood frames are negative "carriers" for old school enlargers - for printing the photos when you don't want to do a contact print. I've used my share of the later metal version.

 

Most of my rummage sale booty from the other day. A silver chain isn't shown. It wasn't much of a muchness. The best bits were three olive wood pieces of treen. No idea what to call the shapes other than urns or boxes. I'll have to get a shot of the stuff I got up at o'dark 30 for today. Estate sale that turned out to be barely worth the effort. The druzy is plastic, but the turtles are tagua nut. The cross is silver.

Ooooopsy........maybe I should have stated that these are heavy as lead.....and when I tap them with my wedding band they tink tink...like pottery..!

Kosta Boda? Mexican? Blenko? (I don't have a clue!) It looks as if there were lots of different makers.
