Anyone know what this is a replica of? Or is it just a fantasy piece? Looks kind of Chinesey to me a bit but I really don’t know. I know it’s a flintlock with a blunderbuss style barrel.

On a side note has anyone ever added an orange tip to a replica or toy firearm to make it salable on the bay? If so, how did you do it? I thought about just adding a cardboard & tape insert for photos. It’s really not worth getting my account in trouble for a relatively low value item I suppose but just throwing the thought around. 4D8BEA6C-C911-45DB-A9F5-4A61B3C41A5A.jpeg D75809ED-C8E8-4061-9602-36CCDCC65D02.jpeg 8B688F5A-0D14-4635-832C-89909D07EF50.jpeg

I've used an orange marker cap in the past and it didn't get flagged.

The presence of verdigris patina is a sign of a long period of air and/or sea water corrosion of brass, copper and bronze. The item pictured appears to be a non functional replica, probably of Indian origin.
    Does the action work?

it has the look of a Queen Anne's style pistol.....

    but I'd say it's a fantasy piece....

Would be fun! I have a real one that would probably still work. French, it’s nice.

I think this is an artificial/applied verdigris. I believe it’s just a relatively well made replica and none of the parts actually move. Indian could be!
