jade effigie ??

Just acquired this at an estate- what is it

it appears to be jade….

 

It appears not to be jade from here

 

Hard to tell what's it's made from though, looks more like pottery

Hold it close to your face, jade/stone would be cold cold

 

some type of stone that is not jade.....

 

Definitely stone….. the sides are more smooth and the green stands out there

You know what, when I’m holding It in my hand all the places my hand contact do seem to be the places wear it’s worn smooth and has that green shine … thanks again for your input on this

A picture of the base wouldn't hurt

 

What's your thoughts on origin ?

 

Not to say anything about negative Komo's or Charlie's input, but you would probably get more members to see this cute thing if a mod would move this thread to a more appropriate forum than Introductions.
