Help finding artist?

I acquired this picture recently.
I've imaged searched, searched the name, can't find much of anything.

Anyone out there recognize the artist? I see it as "Canalis"

Canalis is 'a Latin word meaning "canal" or "channel" (= a narrow tube through which substances can pass), used in medical names and descriptions.' An image of The Shroud of Turin ?

 

It's done in pastels if that helps at all.

 

Are you sure re pastels? Looks like mixed media. I too see Canalis. And I'd assume Italian by the use of "originale." Subject may well be based on Shroud of Turin like this biker ring.

The only partial word above originale looked to me like the writer intended "crayon" or something very close to it. Obviously I could be wrong.

I thought it read "creation originale" which isn't correct Italian.

Poss acrylic artists paint with a liquid gel for texture (the thick raised strokes),or a metallic paint or spray painted Krylon metallic gold.This piece is funky enough to perhaps (perhaps) be worth some money ?
