    Pretty necklace.
    Is it silver or plated?
It looks too shiny to be silver, maybe rhodium plated?
    Magnetic?
I think the crown was used as the Sheffield Assay mark but similar was used on plated items to mimic the mark.

Spanish silver. May well be rhodium plated on top, that's common.

It's quite typical of 70s and 80s Spanish pieces. I've a nice bracelet which was my mother's. Bought in Spain in the late 70s. That weave was popular.

If it sticks to a magnet, it is plated at best.

This necklace has that shiny rhodium plated look to it. My experience has been that some sterling items that have a rhodium plating have a slight magnetic reaction - charms and charm bracelets, for instance.

Rhodium is paramagnetic, with only a faint attraction, silver items (diamagnetic, faintly repellent) are first plated with nickel, which is ferromagnetic, then plated with rhodium - the nickel underplating is what causes a magnet to stick (with varying strengths).
