Help With Limoges Mark

Hello All!

I found an adorable trinket box that is Limoges. I looked up the mark or got close to it but came up with unknown. Can anyone assist?

 

If I'm reading the letters correctly, I see an "A" and a "P." Dunno if that will help in your search, but it could be a company with AP or PA initials.

 

Hi @Mayra Acosta, I know absolutely ZIP/ZERO about Limoges, but took that tiny yellow mark and enlarged it 4X....hoping it's helpful in identifying what's on the bottom of your lovely little trinket box....I also enlarged the mark on the bottom of the box, copied it twice, as you can see, and de-saturated one of them....I thought it was a bit easier to see the lines without the color.....I hope it helps you or maybe @kentworld a bit.......from what I can see, the small yellow image looks to be the same as what's on the bottom of your box, to me, anyway!! I'm wondering if there's a 'J' in that mark as well??????

I think it might be the mark of Andre Prevot. I wasn't very successful in finding information about this company or its history. Often, though, these are the marks of decorating firms rather than manufacturers. The mark is shown in this listing under Prevot but the image is small and difficult to read.

Nice work. I couldn't see a P in there to save my neck.

 

It's like copperplate calligraphy. The "bowl" part of the "P" is narrow and there is a long flourish to the left of the stem.
