Christofle Silverplate Coasters

I guess those are coasters but they are kind of small? About 2 1/4" inner diameter. Some comes with Baccarat crystal liners but not sure if they are original to the set.

 

We bought a set of those in the 1970s-90s - I do not remember what they were marketed as, but we bought them as, and used them as, butter pats. Sold them as that as pats as well.

I suppose we did get the spreaders with them - but as all of our flatware had indiviual butters we probably gave them away or used them for hors d'oeuvres.

 

Ya, I like them for butter pats better than coasters too !!
