    Hello,

Purchased a Group of Tickets / Cards

And this little one was in there.

I have not been able to find very much on it.

I thought the Young Men's League would of been kids, but apparently
they called it that for younger adults etc as well. Just watched a special
on it from PBS. Would love to find out more about the team!

Thanks in advance as always! IMG_1788.JPG IMG_1789.JPG

    Warm Regards,
    Scantic

Just tried Google Maps. Looks like it's a tiny place (the town) and Harmonie Hall is now located in a park, so there's no real "street names."

Guess we'll need to look for another Harmonie Hall.

Okay - I think the S. S. stands for Sunday School. I tried searching S S Baseball Club and that's primarily what I ended up with (although I did not find a reference back in 1904 in Milwaukee.)

That def. Makes a lot of sense! I was thinking it might have been related. I have two others that came with it but they don't seem to be related in anyway. IMG_1793.JPG IMG_1794.JPG IMG_1795.JPG

I wonder... The 3 "tickets" you posted seem to all have the same seal-like impression on them - a manufacturer or Union stamp? Perhaps "collected" by someone related to said stamp?

Yes, the Seal is a Milwaukee Printing Company stamp, sorta like the white head hoag stamp on Pinback buttons. But I wasn't sure if they were from that area, because there are a lot of stuff produced and shipped elsewhere! :)

I believe they say Allied Printing, but it's difficult to tell.

That's true. But perhaps an employee kept some samples?

Is there any printing on the reverse of the song lyric cards?

Haha! YouTube has a recording (from 1906!) of "Waltz Me Around Again Willie."

Sorry for being ignorant, but does 'ladies ticket' mean that men and women would have sat in different areas? And the second ticket down makes me wonder what happened to the 'masked' ladies!!! :D
