Featured How about another pocketwatch

Serial number puts the Waltham works as made in 1905, case made by Keystone Watch Case.

From the wear on the train engraving it appear to be well carried and used.



Sorry for the poor picture quality of the engraving, but light just washed it out even worse.



The off coloring on this shot is from the light of the magnifier.


It does run and keep correct time. Not near as ornate as some of the others we have but what I would guess is a "working man's" watch.

As always, if my info is incorrect please speak up and any additional info welcomed.

 

It does seem quite routine.

I advise always discarding poor pictures and trying again, The sincerity of an apology for poor pictures seems doubtful since you had a choice not to use them.

Well after taking a dozen pictures of the engraving due to its wear that was the best.

 

Try using a soft pencil or other graphite source on the engraving.
