    Hi All,
Not working Omega Ladies watch, marked 9ct all over the place but not on the mesh strap. The serial number dates this to 1964.
I've looked through listing and see some of them have the weight - it weighs 8grams, but the inside of the watch and the mesh strap aren't gold, so how do I figure out the weight? Or just put the 8grams in the listing and the buyer can figure it out?
    any information appreciated.
    thanks for looking

    If it was me,
I'd take the movement out and just scrap the gold.
I wait until I have a few movements and sell them for parts.

if the catch is marked i'd say the mesh is the same metal........
& as nice as it is unscrew the crown, the 2 screws holding the movement.....and do like Davey says........imo !

Hey I hear that sigh.......& Omega made good quality watches .....but unless it's 14 or 18 K....where a gal could wear it as gold jewelry.........they made a ton of these in all shapes......and how many gals wear watches these days...?

My wife went nuts on watches...... bought too many ...wore em lots.....now has an IPhone..........& bare wrists !! so....what can ya do ...!

As the catch is marked I'd expect the strap to be gold. Weigh the whole thing and deduct about 4 grams for the movement to get a rough value. Scrap is the way to go.
