Featured Blue Plate

    I found this wrapped-up old newspaper in a chest with a bunch of dolls from the 50’s.

    Blue china/porcelain/pottery isn’t really my thing but the decoration seems pretty nicely done. I’m curious about the age of the plate.

    Here is a blub from the book "Discovering Dutch Delftware" in their other factories section. Book was printed in 1998 so not totally up to date.

    It is, very nicely done. Rosenthal is a quality company.
    That elongated Greek windmill looks a bit out of place in an otherwise Dutch-inspired landscape though.;) The windmill in the distance looks more Dutch.
