    Hello
I live in England and so does the seller.

This is a 17th-century Dutch old master oil on panel.
"Hunter and his dogs with stag"
The painting requires cleaning and restoration.
    There is no visible signature
This painting is from a private French collection
    Dimensions: 11 x 16 inches unframed / 15 x 20 inches framed

How much do you think it will cost to restore? How much do you think it will be worth after restoration?
    Thanks

Even though imgur.com is safe, some won't click the link. So:

... and this is for subject clarity ...

The title is from the other similar painting the seller had for sale. He missed that when he copied and pasted the text on this lot. ;) Personally, I like the composition of the other one better, :pompous: but I digress.

Looks like the duck hunter is on the right, his dogs and catch. The rod/gun above the dogs is odd. I do not see a second hunter in the shadows. It could have been cut down from a larger image?

Well then, shouldn't the seller have been able to answer these questions ?

I didn't ask the seller, I did not think to ask him. I will get the painting investigated in person by a professional and if it turns out to be a fake I will return it
