    are they worth anything today? I never see anyone selling them and I know a woman who is selling quite a few for cheap...

    Ashley, I can't help you with the slide charms, but I can help a little with the crosses.
    The one on the left is a reproduction Ethiopian Coptic cross, they have been very fashionable for some time now.
    Here are some old ones (not mine):

    You can see that the old ones are smooth with wear. The old ones are usually silver, the repros can be silver, but many are base metal.

    The other is a representation of an Early Medieval Northern European cross.
    The original is probably a stone monument, like this Viking hunting cross from Middleton, Yorkshire, England:

    There as so many slide charms listed on eBay I wouldn't even know where you would start your search.
