Soapstone(?) Water buffalo - what am I?

    Water can be poured into the large hole and out of the hole in his mouth. It's only about 3 inches long. I don't think it's old, but he's cute. 101_0065.JPG

    Probably a water dropper.

    Fill it and see if water pours from the mouth, then try to control the flow with your finger on the top.

    ...I have never before heard a water buffalo described as "cute"...

    He's little and while there seems to be power tool usage someone did a lot of work on this. I was thinking water dropper myself, but the sellers poo-poohed that idea. Water does run through; it was filthy inside when I found it.

    I'd use it as a creamer. Plastic cows like it but larger are sold at truck stops and they are clearly intended for pouring milk out of the cows nose.

    (LOL) It would have to be a single serve; it's only about three inches long. It would hold enough for one cup of joe.

    Yep. Sure looks like it. I think mine was carved a little better than those but it's the same design.
