Hi all, picked this frame up today and cant figure out the hallmarks. Its 9x6,and the '900' is clear enough, but who is f.m. ? Any input is as always greatly appreciated. It looks Mexican, doesn't it ? DSCN3277.JPG DSCN3279.JPG :) DSCN3276.JPG

I was definitely thinking Central or South American from the design, but those markings are a mess.

Oh, wait a minute! Is the first word in the second picture "INDUSTRIA"?

Well, the most common use of that word on silver items is in the phrase "Industria Peruana" (meaning Made in Peru.) So we could be looking for a silvermaker in Peru with initials FM (or maybe FH.)

After hours of searching,Im going to chalk it up to "blokes in a shed" (Where has he been ?!?)

Assuming it is Peruvian, my own experience searching on initials has been quite frustrating. Don't blame you at all for giving up.

Im 99% sure it is Peruvian (wich Id have never gotten without your help) ,googling Peruvian silver frames pulled up several that were like it stylistically,so Im pretty sure. But we all know how THAT goes ,LOL !

Blokes in a shed is about right, but I think it's FA if that helps any. (and not Fanny Adams, although that's about all you'll find on the makers)
