Some amazing Old portraits I need help identifying

My thoughts on the twosome were Shylock & Jessica or Isaac & Rebecca (Ivanhoe).

 

Interesting, the inscription is in Latin and the Latin translation for Brixiensis I thought was Brixton

 

Interesting, but would it be Shylock and Jessica considering she detested her father and was desperate to get away from him? The portrait clearly shows a loving look from the "daughter" to the "father"

 

Also Isaac and Rebecca married at 40 and 14. The old man in the painting seems to be much closer to the 70 age and the young lady maybe 20.

 

@Shadowwolf1117, I took the last photo you uploaded and lightened the area along the bottom, where it's somewhat damaged......from what I can see, there "MAY" be a signature in the dark area.....not positive.....but if you want to pursue it, I'd take it to a professional to see what they say.....If you look closely, you can barely see what I'm talking about in yours. Best of luck in finding a GOOD ONE!!

Couple more for everyone to play with, the still life paintings are very old and very large, no signatures that I can see as of yet.

 

Actually I added two paintings that do show clear signatures on the bottom, hopefully someone can identify them Thank you!

 

I discovered the one signature painting is by Willem Van Dort 1889

 

The river seen looks amateur to me, and the girl with the pitcher is after Vermeer. I like the others but don't have much to say about them. I thought the bathing woman might be Susanna, but I'm not seeing any elders.

 

I love those paintings.
Their not done by the best painters in history, but their at least done by a painter of high quality skills. Beautifull!

Thank you, the floral/fruit still life paintings are actually some of the best talent I have ever seen in person, the photos do not do them justice, it will take some digging to discover who the artist is but will definitely be worth it. After all my entire collection is for sale, its just a matter of applying the correct value to each.

 

The floral/fruit paintings are based on Golden Age Dutch still lifes. They may well be copies. That's why it's always helpful when OPs include photographs of the back of paintings, including frame.

I find it a little concerning that one of them incorporates an element of an Adriaen von Utrecht work.

concerning to the point that this collection may not be what it seems....

 

Interesting but not sure that a subsequent parrot embodied in multiple works dictates that level of critique. I am certainly no expert and am open to understanding that my collection contains a multitude of after masters and lesser known artists but there is something supremely profound about these Dutch still life paintings. Deborah I have attached images of the side and back for you to see, and f it is an after master painting, it is definitely a talented member who studied from the Utrecht school. Thank you!

 

I also find it concerning that the painting's back doesn't show any great sign of age.
