I've got a little 'Cartier' watch case without a movement inside that screams fake at me because the word 'Cartier' looks like it's been punched in. But it tests as gold although I'm not expert enough to say what carat. I'll post a picture later.

 

I agree, different cultures, different views on things.
But if you want to trade outside your own world, you will have to get used to complying with international trading standards. Flooding the rest of the world with your fakes of their quality items and arrogantly ignoring international business legislation is very imperialist, imo. All fakes should be destroyed. (not you Steve)

iMO all sellers and manufacturers of counterfeits should be severely penalized and all product destroyed.

As far as buyers of that crap? First of all you’re fooling no one who actually knows the product but more importantly counterfeit buyers are supporting at best, horrible work conditions, child labor, and low wages in a potentially toxic environment and at worst, they’re supporting terrorism as the counterfeiting of luxury goods is a known and documented means of raising money.

Makes ya real proud to wear that fake piece, right?
