So this little tea set doesn't have any markings and the owner has no idea where they came from but they are very detailed. I have been looking around but haven't found these detailed designs. Guessing they are for a doll house. They do look handmade. When the owner said he had no idea where they came from I joked with him that they must belong to the borrower's that reside in the home. They are on a paper plate in this picture. They are coin sized pieces. There is several more pieces but this is a sample of the sets. PART_1433820004975.jpg

Made in China,I had several sets of these when I was heavily into dollhouses. Look on ebay and theres zillions of them. I really like the ones with the white flowers and green leaves.

I think they're adorable. I remember having teeny things like this as a child. Some Delft or Delft-like. My Dad brought back a tiny set from the southwest (probably made in Mexico) from some business trip. Looked like clay pottery dishes with yellow and brown glaze. I seem to have lost them somewhere. :(

I've had some luck selling these partial sets all in one lot.

I think he has most the pieces to all the sets this was just a few of the items. He said there was a lot more pieces. I plan to get more pictures on Thursday. This was a picture that was sent to me from the owners cell phone so it isn't the best. He said he found them in an old drawer. Honestly, no telling how long they have been in there. A good decade at the very least. I am sure.

Could be. I had a Japanese made set as a kid, or pieces of one anyway. They're still being made; I found a newish set for my niece a few years ago.

I'd say Borrowers was a good suggestion... or Lilliput.

I had quite a few of these pieces - didn't realize 200 USD for the whole lot

I have mid-century dollhouse china pieces that are similar, plus have bought brand-new ones made today. I don't know when these types of items were first made.

Many new dollhouse items are made to look like older pieces since dollhouse collectors/decorators often create period room setting.

When my daughter was young, we collected these for her. All of the younger generation of the family are boys, so no one wanted them and I had to declutter. Didn't get much for them, but the folks who bought them seemed happy.

I've sold lots of dollhouse items, from antique to new plus ones I've made, and the buyers have always been great.

A number of times I've shipped one itty bitty thing all the way to Australia or New Zealand, which always amazes me.
