Featured Who was it had a Thing with an HS stamp?

Just found a Thing in the hoard which is stamped HS. It also has an Avon stamp.

 

What a very cute Thing. It's very small though. So small I can't see it. Maybe I need glasses.

Well, I'm going to be VERY BRAVE and ask (as I Personally haven't a clue), WHAT the heck is a "THING with an HS STAMP"???????????

Snicker. Someone, I can't recall who had a ring (?) or something stamped HS and nothing more. The piece I found and have now mislaid, had the same HS stamp but also an Avon one.

 

OK Serious. If you ever find it, this site and some others say Avon HS code is for the Honor Society. Now you know I know very few bits about jewelry, so I don't know if this teeny, tiny, little Thing is for an Honor Society, but this is the quote from the site:

I had sold some Avon for okay prices years ago. I read this link to refresh my alzheimers.

This child's take on Avon is quite amusing.
