I have maybe a glazed porcelain or pottery bowl. The top and bottom diameters are around 7 1/2" each and the height is about 7 1/8". My mom stores tongs and drinking ladels in it. I hope someone knows what this is and can share it with me so that I can find dollar range on it. Thank you for your assistance in this request. Rob

Hey Rob. I just sold a number of these and very similar that came off the farm where I was raised. Grandma used to buy them as needed from the tinker and his truck of wonders when he came by and she needed one. Most of the ones the tinker brought were probably made in PA or MD. Where are you located. Think she said she paid about a dime for each and was probably pre 1950.

Rob, I think a lot of people these days call these "utensil crocks".

Probably had a lid at one time.
As noted used in today's world as utensil jar/crock.

The crack on the side diminishes the value.

Rob, my Grandma lived in the far eastern panhandle of WV, just a stones throw from Harpers Ferry.

I take I-68 to Washington, D.C. through Cumberland etc. I don't know if I have been to Harpers Ferry, which is situated between Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers, was a ferry crossing owned by Robert Harper back in the later 1800s. It is WV most eastern town in the Eastern Panhandle. The confederate's northern most town. Rob
