Help with Signature, Nice abstract possibly mid-century art

...Rui? remember, 1970s, everyone was desperate because the clothes were horrible. I have grown to like the piece though, strangely compelling.

 

I think it's a skilled piece. Not my taste even a tiny little bit.

And now that we're talking 70s, how 'bout that avocado/gold/rust palette? Cuh-lassic.

Still. I will argue, with my last dying breath, that the clothes weren't truly awful until the eighties.

can't hold a candle to the absolute fashion style winner decade of all times...

 

Untouched except for contrast and size......

 

I was thinking maybe Drier as the last name. I did find one current artist with that last name, but not the same one.
