@rink Can't tell from the photo if the perfume bottle is Sabino or not. The other pieces are definitely NOT Sabino.

This was found in the garden when tilling. We have no idea what it is. Can anyone tell us what this is?

I want to say "how big is it?". . . but I'll refrain from doing that and ask instead if you can please give us the size of your object.

Which continent did you find it on?

I can't remember what these are called. It's the disc from a projector type thing, I think.

It is 4.675" diameter .375" thick. Inner circles are 1" diameter. Found in northeast Ohio USA.

We thought it was something for a projector however the four circles with patterns are completely opaque.

There are words inscribed around the edge that coincide with each of the 8 circles. There is OPEN, (4) OBJECT that coincide with the symbol drawings, N for the blue disk, S for the yellow disk, and D for the purple disk.

The back side of the 1" circles have a fine pitch thread.

Wondering if it has something to do with gardening following the moon phases... some symbols are very evocative.:cyclops:

Today’s finds. A slightly unusual wave necklace and a lovely brooch.

Hmm. The holes look like they might be threaded? Can the insets be removed? Whatever you see marked on the metal may correspond to the disk on the opposite side?

That thing is annoyingly familiar. Something in my head says lighting/projector/theatre related. Object ought to relate to a lens.

    Lovely brooch, late 19th.

That brooch could be 1860s/1870s or so; the pin stem looks steel and it's a lot longer than the brooch. That usually says "I'm older than dirt". The necklace is a newbie, relatively.

And that round thing ... not a clue. I'd clean it up and put it on a shelf somewhere.
