Featured Mysterious letters on Ring and Wasp Pendant

I purchased these today. I didn't take a close look at the writing until I returned. I can't make sense of it at all. The writing on the pendant is incomprehensible, while I keep thinking that the writing on the inner band of the ring looks like Hebrew but I can't figure out what the letters are.

 

I'm not sure there is any writing on the pendant. Still puzzling on the ring.

It's weird, because only that side has those marks. The other wasp has smooth wings.

I think I recognize these on the ring, but I'm not even sure...

I can't either. One way up almost looks like Roman letters; the other almost looks like Hebrew. I don't think it's Cyrillic, but not absolutely sure.

Given the decoration on the ring, maybe Gaelic?

 

I showed my friend who is bilingual in both Russian and Hebrew, and she had no idea what it said either. She said that some of the letters don't make sense for Hebrew, while others kind of look like it.

 

I think that's an Asian script. Thai. Dots at the top.

I also wondered about Devanagari, at first, but that has a top line to it. And not those superscripts.

 

More than a little similar, I'd say. Thank you, those are it, I'd say! I bought them from the same seller, so I'm not surprised they have a similar origin. I only paid about 75 cents each, so I guess they were a bargain either way.
