vintage table lamp ID

Anyone any ideals on the maker and year ..

 

I can't offer anything definitive, but my sister had something very similar in yellow, back in the 1970s.
And we referred to it as a desk lamp, not a table lamp.
The style is still made today:

Yup, not an antique any time soon and a desk lamp. These were popular when I was in college.

Looks Danish to me, and there is somewhat of a market for these little desk lamps. Yours looks a little rough, though...or maybe just the pic quality.

 

Id guess 70s too. We had a white one.I just remember that it used to get SO hot after being on a while .You touched it you got burnt!

 

I don't recognize the "LB" stamp. Agree with the approximate dating of 1970s or even a tad earlier. This age and style of lamp definitely has a following. However cosmetic condition is paramount for this kind of piece.

I had one too. If you did recover after touching the lamp when you had it turned on for awhile, you didn't have finger prints anymore. LOL

 

I have some questions about the part on this image.

What metal is that (yellow/brown?) hinge? Copper? Coroded silverish metal?
Is it bolted, and with what kind of bolts? Sturdy riveted copper? Or thin (pop) rivets?
Detailed photo perhaps?

This hinge, it construction and the full design to me could perhaps be dated in the 60s or some earlier, depending on the answers.
My doubts comes from that i don't seem to see any plastic what one would expect in the 70s. And looks a more study hinge in stead of a weaker one as on this one...

I found a sold eBay listing for an LB lamp that's almost identical. I wonder if that brass dial is a retrofit because the plastic tensioning wheel may have broke. Just a guess.

 

That's why i have questions and asked for a better picture for the details.
Yeah '70s was my quick first thought too. Until i got some questions.

Yours show exactly what i asked for. Simple silver collored metal and simple plastic knobs. And more plastic...
The one from henrycow looks (yellow) copper with a more designed copper knob.
Could be corroded though. Or bad photo lightning. But no plastic anywhere? And riveted hinge, no screws?
If so, copper (and no plastic), i would dare to express older then 70s, so 60s or perhaps even late 50s.

And another detail. The '70s and up cable usually goes at the outside. Accept at henrycow's one, where it seems to go through the hinge? Not common for 70s mass spot lights. Where's the cable?
