Armando,as long as you feel your vision is being expressed, thats all that really matters when it comes to art. I like the second one. :)

Thank you komokwa.... When I finished this piece, I stepped back and was shocked..I'm glad you enjoy. I have quite a few people wanting that one but I'm not quite ready to let it go just yet.

Thank you Johnnycb09.. you're correct, as long as the piece speaks to me, that's all that matters. I've learned this indisputable fact fairly quick!

    Thank you
cxgirl.. I'll try not to, with my regular job, painting, keeping up with individuals liking my art and taking care at the house, my plate is so full but I'll do my best to keep in touch here. Hope you have a lovely day.

    Here's a hint Armando......
I once asked an artist how he could sell such a beautiful item ???
He said , he could always make another.

    ( I know , no 2 pieces are exactly alike.....but you get the drift ! )

All my paintings are unique and I feel semi-attached to them. It's great that you're painting. The world needs as many artists as possible!

When I've done craft work, I've also gotten somewhat attached to things I made. And it never failed that the items that sold the fastest were the ones I liked the most.

I keep trying to come up with ideas for the tons of lock parts and keys we have set aside. Buckets of it. Most are some kind of alloy, so scrap metal dealers don't want it.

They are, They are what is known as 'jet coat' metal sheet. These were 'drops' from many parts I used to make by hand for another artist. I spot welded them together to keep damage and distortion down.
I saved them not knowing what I would do with them but... Voila! :)
She got quite a few blood donations from me while building her. ;)

King, that's kind of cool. Did you do other pieces like that?

Thank you very much! :) I still have some of that material but not enough for a piece. I could always make more though.
I was going to do other similar pieces but moved toward found object art where I told a story based on an old photo or hand written note I would find wherever. I mostly use very old kitchen or furniture drawers and old small suitcases as armatures.
I searched out stuff wherever I could find it. Just recently came across more of such things so...

King, that sculpture and your pics of it are astounding. When I first looked at the images I really thought they were digital paintings (they would make very cool prints). But they are real life! They do look dangerous though...
