One for @Any Jewelry perhaps. Where do you reckon this is from?

It was so filthy, I actually broke my rule and silver dipped it. I also need to work out how to fix the clasp tongue.

the hand made box safety chain is a nice touch....though it looks a later addition...

Lovely bracelet, obb. It looks like silver to me, and there may have been a mark on the missing part of the clasp. Some of these multi-link bracelets have a fineness of 1000.
I agree with Bronwen, this one is from India. Related but slightly different types are found in parts of the Middle East. Craftsmen have been going back and forth for thousands of years.
The box clasp is original, and one of the ways to tell it is from India rather than the Middle East.

The mounts would probably have held opaque blue glass cabochons, that light blue to turquoisy blue that you see a lot in the area. It wards off the evil eye.
You can buy a bag of them online, and they are easy to replace. Just make sure you get the size right, better have them slightly smaller than bigger. In India they put black putty around the rims of the mounts if glass cabs are too small.

Cheers! I wondered about cabochons, there's no sign of them - I quite iike it without. And a mark being on the missing bit makes sense, to.

Looking at its design it is from India probably from Rajasthan and is made from silver.

    The box clasp is original..................

    U sure?
I mean with all the round circle loops....that box design looks out of place ???

The box clasp is absolutely integral to the wire work - all of a piece. The chain may not be original.
