Waterford Lafford?

Help! Can anyone tell me when the Waterford Crystal pattern 'Lafford' was introduced? Thought I was up to play with most Waterford patterns but am struggling with this one. Thank you in advance!

 

....or if anyone can tell me when it was discontinued. Maybe just any information about the Lafford pattern!

 

Welcome Trantor13 - did you check the Replacements.com site? They list the pattern as discontinued and they have nothing in stock. The pieces they show would make it appear that Lafford was primarily a giftware line.

Thanks Don, This is the item in question - a Lafford ice bucket. Would make sense that it's possibly one of their giftware items. Is a nice piece of crystal regardless.

 

It does look very nice. You can check eBay to see if there is a strong market for it or perhaps to find the matching decanter. If you're not familiar with eBay just let me know and I'll check for you.

Yours appears to be a slightly different shape, @Trantor13 -- but it may be the angle of your photo that makes it look different.
