I bought them because I saw Dansk, Finland and Linen. Figured out they were actually worth money later.

Dansk can bring nice prices, but a few years ago, they brought huge prices.

I wonder where these had been hiding for the last 165 years.

I found these in my token drawer today, I've no idea where I got them, probably a house clearance in the last 5 years.

They are Pub tokens from around 1855 and the pub was called the Sea Witch and the landlord was David Simpson

I did the research today on a London pub history site.

The medallist who made them, J.W, Taylor of London made nearly all the pub tokens in London, I've seen similar in past auctions go for over £100 each but I can't find any for the Sea Witch.

When Stracci enters the thrift store, everyone must step aside!

I recently found this 16" basket with an eagle. What's in its talons, arrows?

And then I found this Acoma turkey jar. It's quite whimsical.

Based on the price on the bottom, I'm guessing 1960's or so. I can't believe that this has survived 50 years without being broken!

I bet the eagle is a copy of the Great Seal, or as close as they could get. Clutch of arrows in one set of talons, and the olive branch in the other.

Found this on Saturday. Actually I'd seen it before, but finally broke down and got it. Local artist I'd never heard of, and made about 25 miles from here.
