Kosta Boda Ken Done art glass - what is it?

This little dish (?) has been sitting on a shelf for a long time. It's Ken Done for Kosta Boda, but what is it?

It's only 3 1/2" in diameter, and it has a slight depression in the center, about 3/8" high at the rim. It's too tip-py to be a coaster, the indent seems too small and shallow to hold a candle--one olive would rest in it nicely. Any ideas?

    Thanks!
    Janice

Was Ken Done an owner at one time? What is the black writing under the "tail"?

KD is obviously Ken Done. No idea what 2P is.

George…I didn't mean for my answer above to sound short. I apologize if it did.

I think Ken Done is an Australian designer. I have a scarf with his signature. Evidently he also did a line for Kosta Boda that includes Australian flora and fauna. I can find Kosta Boda glassware by him, but not this little dish. I guess it could be a butter pat, though it would hold only a small pat.

It looks like the kind of widget that is made to advertise the creations of the maker. No purpose, just a, "this is what what I do looks like."

Or "this is what that which I do..."

Agreed, silver. And made small so as to be an affordable example.
