It is a box with silver trim and sides appear to be copper over wood. I am looking where to get an idea of what a box like this is worth. 10"×6 1/2"×5" Thank you for any help. 2019-05-03 11.54.56.jpg 20190503_104229.jpg

Looks like an Art Nouveau humidor / cigar box. Any markings on the silver?

Rainwater says about Gorham's "Athenic" line - "The Athenic trademark was used on articles that are Art Nouveau in feeling, but Greek in inspiration. Sterling silver is combined with other materials."

You should note that this particular Gorham item is NOT marked Sterling, but rather bears the anchor in shield mark they use for silver plated wares. That will affect comparable prices.

I saw that after posting, but in case searching turns up one marked Sterling, just be aware. ;)

The applied bits are silver, whether marked or not - and must admit to a bit of envy here...
