Featured Am I missing something...silver pendant

This was about to be tossed into my bag of no interest scrap when I decided to test it and got a very quick positive reaction. So is this a hideous hobby piece lashed together in someone’s shed or am I a total Philistine by not recognising some great work?
Seems odd someone would use silver and then finish it so badly?.
It’s fairly big and over 40g.

More like a fraternal twin! Good find.

 

Might be Jacob Hull Denmark. Did a lot of heavy silver plate brutalist in the 1970s set with semi precious stones. It's very hard to distinguish from solid silver.

You are clever to find that! I considered Googling ‘Ugly pendant ‘ but didn’t think that would narrow it down much!.Having said that the Amethyst one has more charm than mine.

Finding a hard attribution for a maker will be like pulling teeth, if that's what you mean.

 

Very strange piece,the balls on both pieces were cut on a lathe.Too much labor involved for a simple design.
