Hi I have a set of china I was gifted. I am hoping for some help identifying who produced the set. All I know is the box it came in says that it is a antique rose luncheon set. Thank you for any answers.

Here is the picture of the bottoms. Also they are very transparent so I believe it may be bone china. antique.jpg anique 1.jpg

    Hi Ron!

    TY for nice photos.

Wait for others, but I'm thinking from Japan.

I'm more familiar with c/s from England and so marked.

Welcome Ronkus13 - I agree with Judy that this set is most likely Japanese. Many of these mid-century tea sets were not marked. Your pieces are certainly translucent but whether they are bone china I really can't say. If you have the original packing box it may help us if we could see the label. The more information you provide the better we are able to assist.

You say luncheon set, so there are plates? Any marks on the bottom of those?

    Thank you for looking.

Probably Japan then, as others have said.
Probably 1960s when the paper labels were used.
