Featured Unknown Hummingbird Cactus 3-D Pottery Bowl

    Another wonderful thrift store find! Bowl features a hummingbird and bee flying near a cactus. There is a letter "H" impressed on the outside bottom edge. Any idea who dunnit? THANKS! abowl7.jpg abowl6.jpg abowl3.jpg abowl2.jpg abowl1.jpg

    Hi,
    I was really shocked when I saw your post. When I was doing ceramics in the early 1960s that is almost the same trademark that I used. Mine was my initials GJH but I had six little ribbons at the top.!!!! mine were all "painted" on not embossed.

    What a lovely bowl! I don't know the artist but I'll do some looking. I believe the cactus is a Cholla and with that rising/setting sun logo I'm wondering if this is an Arizona potter.
