    Our friends here have helped me make good decisions too. I so appreciate it. If I only had found them ten years ago, I wouldn't have bought an "antique" with a zip code on the label amongst other misadventures.

    Are these the guys that sold you that nice Chinese Porcelain wedding bed thing? They gave you a good deal, I thought.

    I don't think they're trying to swindle you, just put out a high price to see how people react.

    They already went down 2/3... :)

    I'm not a haggler by nature, just lining up the dots.

    I am not in the same country, but I'm sure I could find the number for the local police if needed....:bookworm:

    I should have been.:) Journey wasn't sure they were metal, so test that first. And then there are some metals that are worth more than others.

    Tested with magnet - nothing. Then I scratched a place underneath & it was silver-ish; so probably spelter - worth less, I'm guessing?
