komokwa The Truth is out there...!

ie the reason I am unable ind it online is that it is rare.

    Please remember.....online...is not GOD !

Maybe no one has uploaded this fake.
Maybe your search terms are not bringing up the right items.
Maybe the item you seek is posted under Cucci.....or Oucci......
There are 100 reasons why you can't find another one of these....and none of them have squat to do with it being RARE !!

    Steaks are Rare !

If it's UK, Gucci stores won't authenticate. Also worth remembering that there is a thing about people wanting NEW! and BOXED! and from a mall, which also explains the cheapness of second hand.

The fact that the seller "accepted a return straight away, no arguing or questioning" indicates nothing at all about the authenticity of the piece. When someone returns something on my Ebay account, it could be the Mona Lisa... I accept, do not argue or question. I may be frustrated and disappointed because I'll need to relist/rebox and I'll be out shipping, but anything but cheerful full cooperation may result in negative feedback or worse.

So far no one has proven anything about this piece. The fact that it sold for a fraction of new, I agree with OBB. No box, etc., maybe a scuff or two, a used item can't really be given as a gift as easily. One would expect a fraction of retail. If several of the exact used Gucci pieces were selling on Ebay in the hundreds and this one sold for 1/10th of that, yes, then be suspicious.

There are so many Gucci designs, the fact that you can't find this one...well, could mean less popular or maybe it is a fake. If you are buying it to make money in the hopes it was rare, that might not be the best investment, but in fairness you should have done your research before the seller mailed it to you. Looks like there was bidding by other bidders right up to your amount so this piece had interest.

Your comment at the start, "Hi recently purchased this bracelet off eBay and stupidly didn't research it beforehand."

I'm sure I've done similar in the past, but always courteous to sellers to do research first.

Most of the 'value' of designer goods lies in the mind of the buyer, it is hype and puffery, snobbery and ignorance, not rationality. Regardless of the authenticity of the piece, if the buyer doubts it, the value is not there. Faith is more important than facts.
There have been genuinely innovative and important designers such as Christopher Dresser,Omar Ramsden, etc. Some deserve their reputation and prices, but mass produced modern stuff seems to be made of the same material as the Emperor's new clothes, and secondhand buyers not infected with brand magic pay for the actual item, not the huge marketing and publicity costs that inflated the original price. £30 sould about right for used retail, the new retail price has a huge element of 'We saw you coming' about it.

I cite Pandora. Not all that well made

I do so agree on designers. There's a couple of reasonably modern Scottish ones I'll buy, because they personally design the stuff and it's effectively made to order. And beautifully crafted.
