That's the infamous "Victoria China" mark - which is actually made in China.

LOL!!! I learn something every day. This is why I don't buy glassware and pottery. I will use it as a vase. Everybody wanted to buy it. Hilarious.

Hopefully this find I found about a week and a half ago is to your likings.
I went to an estate sale ( most of my stories start like that) and we got their right before the sale opened. They said we can look so we did. Long story short, they had a sterling silver Elgin pocket watch that they said “ I’m sorry this is a family heirloom”. Then I picked up another watch with a Speidel band and asked how much, the guy said a dollar and when I looked it up, I was surprised that jaeger lecoultre was an nice watch to have.
Figured out it had a built in a alarm when I was eating.
I put it in a convenient box as to keep it safe. 066895E4-7C79-46F6-BFFB-9A55899E2688.jpeg

the little triangle that points to 10 o'clock...is the alarm hand..
    Yes..it's a good name.....
but to authenticate your find we need to see the whole watch...and the back popped open to see the movement and markings..

    still...nice find..

I know it is a jaeger lecoultre memovox
Steel edition, as for removing the back, it says it needs a specific watch wrench to open. I will be taking it to a jewelers hopefully soon.
I did come across the guy that had all the paperwork to them online, but because another guy bought the rights to that information he was told to take it off the Internet. He needs the number too. When I see the number I will post it. Had trouble with taking a pic because it kept saying the file size was too big to upload. Here is another pic. 1A72E3C8-1874-4BFD-83C4-A231531678A8.jpeg

Of course. I would never take a bad tone with you. I am hoping it is real too. Just thought I would post it in the finds as you don’t usually see a few thousand dollar watch for sale for just a dollar.
On another note ( can’t post it here video file is too big) the second hand glides as smooth as a Rolex and it is silent.

Do you remember the tiny Hovis bread tins? You could also buy the mini brown loaves. Takes me back. Looks like a rare piece.

I loved those wee bread tins and the loaves, too. I cannot find this bottle anywhere. I bought some R White's lemonade ones, too, but those are easy. ;)

I know it's only Bradford Exchange, but I love wolves - and it's silver, and cost me all of ten dollars.

Wow just looked thru all the fab finds here. You all did so nicely.

I was intrigued by the knife holder thingy's, that cake thingy and the cxgirls snake thingy. This thread is so interesting and fun to see.

I bet there is a market for the snake thingy. A lady on etsy sells framed spiders etc (dead but real) and she bought some frames from me to use for her shop quite awhile ago. Spooky scary stuff sells.

I've gotten two Omegas this year for peanuts. Neither one was a working watch, but even so... it does happen. People will charge money for even fake Rolexes, but may not know some of the others.

I could probably get those omegas working. I am guessing they have all the parts to them? If not I might be able to fashion up the pieces if needed.
There is a big difference between running and non running watches. Also getting them to run smoothly without a lot of sound and witching the right speed takes time. I was able to get 2 omegas from a person that goes back and forth from the US to China. Not hard to tell a knockoff from the real thing, but then again it might be harder for others.
Would love to see your omegas though. Always love a good James Bond omega.

I already sold the one, and the other is one of their quartz ones. Until recently I didn't even know they made any. The one that was sold was a basket case, but did date to the 1960s. This is a quick and dirty photo of the other.
