The first page is probably Psalm 122 of a Book of Hours (?), 15th century, Netherlandish (Bruges?). I read:

Quia multum repleta est anima nostra obprobrium abundantibus et despectio superbis

@Ex Libris: Wowser. The last person I "knew" who knew old books as well as you was Joe Fine. He was a rare book seller and posted a lot on the old ebay boards.

Thank you for the compliment! I consider myself as an enthusiastic amateur old paper collector, not as a specialist. These posts are some kind of compensation for me, because I haven’t found a forum yet for old paper collectors. Hahaha.

There are some out there, or else why would that guy have gotten himself into a pile of jail time swiping things from Yale? It was years ago, true, but somewhere out there is a whackadoodle collector who wants it because he wants it.

The first image looks like a high priest (Aaron?) and the stoning of Stephen, the first Christian Martyr.

I didn't even try to read most of them, but there are a lot of pages about German history and geography, as well as one about shoeing horses. Thought it was another body part they were working on at first!

Too much information for my little brain....

The German page with the 5 woodcut portraits looks like a page from the Nuremberg Chronicle, but I do not think it is. It is similar though.

The woodcut with the men under the banners looks like made by Jakob Wimpfeling.

Now I look at it more, it can be from the same book from Gerard Leeu.
Can you make a photo of the other side?

The page that starts with dat.li.capittel (the 51st part) is the only page in Dutch of an incunabula page, probably printed by Gerard Leeu in Antwerp or Gouda. When I read the text it could be the book "Dat liden ende passie ons heeren Jhesu Christi" (The suffering and passion our Lord Jesus Christ), printed in 1477, 1479 or 1482.

Further I see one of more pages of Flavius Josephus, who is known for his history of Jewish people and some pages from a German herbal (Krautenbuch).

And now I stop, it is after midnight. Maybe I have more time tomorrow. @Scott Eidam. It would be much easier, when you number the object, so I do not need to make a description for every post.

I've always said that I've never met a piece of paper that I didn't like, LOL. But it's not of the rare variety, or would be if I came across some. I have taken up collage so I can use lots of paper scraps!

The copper engraving of the Jousting event is much later (probably 18th or 19th century).
