Any suggestions on maker/origin? There are three divided compartments.
    Thanks

    I love it!

I tried searching 'biomorphic glass vase' and 'organic form glass vase', but couldn't find anything that I thought was a true match.

There is a glass artist from New Mexico...John Bingham...who has been making biomorphic glass since the 70's. His art looks similar, but his pieces are signed and don't appear to be as massive as yours.

Hm. The glass colour and that base are very Scandi.

In form it certainly resembles this Czech vase from the book Hi Sklo Lo Sklo.

That's a good thought. Sklo wasn't in my head for it: it's a dull colour for Czech glass of that period, but the shape is spot on.

Perhaps that has to do with the lighting and background?
I know I can never get my photos to look like they were done professionally. :(

Nope, it's a very untypical colour - that grey/blue and a single colour at that. The book one is far more usual: brighter real colours and tonal.

Actually the colors in the book are a little less dramatic but I enhanced a little to makes sure the text was readable. (I like globby glass myself). Too bad it's not signed.

Sklo makers didn't sign, generally. Your enhancement is pretty close to how much of it looks in the hand. (I've had a lot of it over the years!)

    Thanks for the replies.
Seems like it is possible Beranek to be the designer.

Say_it_slowly, Can I use the image from your book in a listing?

Mark Hill doesn't mind images being used, I believe, as long as you attribute properly.
