Help with maker and age of girls......

    Dennis Tjaden Old ball coach......

    Can anyone help me with the age and the makers mark? These are a pair of girls, both have the same markings on the bottom. Both are about 3.4 to 4 inches wide and about 5 inches tall.

    There is a faint mark that is to the left of the bottom of the maker's mark.

    Thank you Debora, that would make since. It was my mothers and I believe she collected these things when she was younger.

    Any idea of the makers mark?

    They are missing their umbrellas. They came in 3 colors that I know of. Red, Black and Blue.

    More than one Japanese importer used this mark. I think. I found one with a Royal sticker and another with a Semco sticker, then I quit.

    It looks like one or the other or both were hand-painted.

    Notice the difference in upper eyelashes in the two when side-by-side in the first photo you posted here.
